About The Programme
The Foundation in Arts (FIA) is a one-year, full-time on-campus programme designed to help you transition into higher education with confidence and ease. More than just academic preparation, this programme is an enriching year where you will grow personally, academically and develop absolute confidence in a university environment.
With supportive lecturers, engaging classes and a well-balanced curriculum, the FIA ensures you learn at a comfortable pace. You will build essential academic, digital and communication skills through interactive, student-focused learning. Students receive continuous, hands-on support throughout the year, ensuring you feel encouraged, motivated and fully prepared to step into your Bachelor’s degree.

The Foundation in Arts (FIA) is your friendly first step to university, designed to help you begin your university journey with confidence and ease, developing essential skills for higher study.
Learning in the FIA programme is interactive, combining engaging classroom activities, group discussions, presentations and guided assessments. With supportive lecturers, you will receive continuous academic support throughout the year, ensuring you feel encouraged, motivated and well-prepared for university-level learning.
You will learn at a comfortable pace while building essential academic, digital and communication skills. Your progress is measured fairly through a balanced combination of Continuous Assessments and a Final Examination, equipping you to solve problems, present data effectively and pursue lifelong learning independently.

Entry Requirements 🡣
To apply for the Foundation in Arts (FIA) programme, applicants must meet the following minimum academic requirements:
Any other equivalent qualifications accepted by the AeU University Senate.
English Requirements 🡣
Not Required. Start your journey smoothly without immediate language barriers. You will develop essential communication skills progressively during your Foundation studies.
